Participant's testimonial
In lieu of trying to get business queries for the year 2014, I gathered quite a few testimonials from the participants and use them for the scheduled Facebook slots that has to be sharing from participant/lecturer/teacher. In the middle of the collage lies the picture of the participant who wrote the testimonial, the first that i received from the participant from the camp. I was pleasantly surprised and very heartened to receive a testimonial from the student (not saying that I have no faith in my job but it is very nice to know that my efforts has an impact on someone now and then). Therefore he is center-piece there.
Here are all the rejected designs:
There were other drafts but they kinda looked hideous anyway.
A quote poster made with a candid picture
I first found this picture when I was sifting through the pictures taken post-camp:
I found it hilarious as apparently one of the trainers at the camp told me that the food that they had cooked was quite horrible-tasting. The youths of today are quite pampered and are used to good food and never stepping into the kitchen.
Then one day I had to find something to post in a pre-examinations period, that will encourage the students about their studies. And then, I also found a quote that has a flippant (or, resilient) attitude towards the hardships in life. So i combined them together...:
The words had to be aligned nicely, the foreground subject had to be differentiated from the pretty girls in the background.

App feature
Final Copy on Facebook:
Thought process:
The theme set for that week was "A new find/something interesting" and I thought apps are interesting to feature, as magazines have IT sections and they feature apps and reviews them like they feature books. Using the keywords that are relevant to Youth Leadership Programmes, I found the app that was free and quite handy for participant post-programme to use and extend their knowledge further.
